BACOLOD CITY – Welcome to the spanking new home of Negros Press Club (NPC), the oldest media organization in the country.
Bacolod City Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya and Negros Press Club (NPC) Inc. President Erwin “Ambo” Delilan led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the unveiling of the renovated NPC office in Bacolod City on Thursday (June 6, 2024).
Fr. Aniceto “Mao” Buenafe Jr., parish priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish-Bata, officiated the blessing rite.
A former media practitioner himself, Gasataya provided assistance for the renovation of the NPC office.
“This is one way for me to share with and thank the media industry in Bacolod City, where I came from. It’s a simple token of my appreciation and gratitude,” the lawmaker said.
Delilan stated that the renovation of the NPC office fulfills his dream for club members to have a comfortable workspace and a relaxing place for meetings.
The renovated office includes an upgraded work hub for members, a spacious conference room, improved comfort rooms, and a president’s office.
