Nocppo opens 13 slots for NUPs

BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here is looking for non-uniformed personnel (NUP) applicants to fill in vacant positions in some police stations.

13 slots in the province were opened for the NUP applicants, who were screened yesterday by the committee chaired by Police Brigadier General Allan Nobleza, deputy regional director for administration of Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) via video conference due to restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Police Colonel Romy Palgue, Nocppo director was also one of the members of the panel.

Two NUPs each are needed in police stations in Cauayan town, Bago City, La Carlota City, San Carlos City, and Silay City, and one each for Calatrava, Hinoba-an, and Pulupandan towns.

At least 61 applicants already underwent the initial screening interview at the Nocppo headquarters here on September 14.

The qualified aspirants will then be recommended for the neuro-psychiatric examination.
