ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Ambulant vendors who are not from Pontevedra, Capiz are banned from selling in the town’s public market.

The policy is an offshoot of Executive Order No. 11 issued by Capiz Governor Esteban Evan Contreras II barring all ambulant vendors from the public markets during market days in the different towns of Capiz.

The executive order took effect April 26, 2021 to stop the rise in COVID-19 cases.

On April 25, the public market of President Roxas, Capiz was placed under lockdown due to the upsurge in infections.
