The Denver Nuggets again overcame all odds after forcing another Game 7.

Nikola Jokic and his crew put up another gusty performance to erase the Los Angeles Clippers’ 16-point lead to outlast them in Game 6, 111-98.

Jokic dominated the game and imposed his will underneath after stuffing up the stat sheet with 34 huge points, 14 rebounds, and 7 dimes.

“We don’t have pressure. All the pressure is on them. We have to play at a high level and give our best. To us it’s just another Game 7. We’re going to go out there and play,” said the All-Star center.

The Clippers came in waxing hot in the first half, pouring in 63 first half points but was limited to just 35 points the rest of their way.

The Denver Nuggets came out of the break with a renewed sense of urgency, scoring an avalanche of points to erase the deficit.

Monte Morris, Michael Porter Jr., Jamal Murray, and Gary Harris all scored in double figures as they put on a shooting clinic in the third and last frame of the game.

Although Kawhi Leonard and Paul George contributed 58 points, the rest of the team suffered an poor shooting night from the field and would need to turn things around in game 7.

“It was beautiful playing. Then we stopped moving the ball, stopped playing. That’s what let them get back in the game. We clearly have the right formula. We just lost it. We lost our pace,” said LA Clippers head coach Doc Rivers.

Game 7 will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 (Philippine time).
