BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Inter-Agency Task Force against the novel coronavirus imposed a number coding scheme on all home quarantine passes, as part of preventive measures against the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Mayor Evelio Leonardia signed Executive Order No. 30-2020 stating that all persons holding quarantine passes (HQP) ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9) will be allowed to go out of their homes to buy necessities every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Home quarantine passes ending in even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8 and 0) are allowed to go out on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in the same times.
HQP will not be honored on Sundays.
All persons are obliged to strictly observe home quarantine on Sundays except those rendering essential government services, frontline workers persons requiring medical assistance, persons involved in the movement of cargoes and goods, and workers providing essential services.
Persons exempted from restrictions are only required to present valid identification.
Supermarkets, groceries, and public markets are also ordered to require their customers to show their valid quarantine passes upon entry.
Those who are not able to present passes are not allowed to enter the establishments.
The Bacolod City Police Office, with support from the Philippine Army’s 303rd Infantry Brigade and other anti-crime volunteer groups, are ordered to strictly implement the order.
Anyone who misuses or abuses the quarantine passes are also warned that they will be dealt with administratively and or criminally under applicable laws, special laws, ordinances and or the Revised Penal Code.
The number coding scheme takes effect today, April 15, 2020.
