The ODM Sportswear squad extended their winning streak to five after toppling Guimaras Leopards, 98-87, in the Mayor Jerry P. Treñas Dinagyang Basketball Cup.

Miguel Sasuman came in waxing hot for ODM as he immediately sank two straight three-pointers that ignited a massive start for them.

ODM imposed their will on the game with their disciplined defensive style, making it hard for Jefrey Espinosa and Misael Poral to score for the Leopards.

The high-low play for Jesse Sullano and May Parohinog gave trouble to the Guimaras bigs as they scored numerous and-one plays underneath.

Although leading at the half 48-36, ODM started to miss some open looks which Guimaras capitalized on after grabbing the boards and coasting for breakaway deuces.

RL Cartel of Guimaras answered the call when Espinosa went cold offensively, putting the Leopards within striking distance and cutting the lead to just 3.

However, Sasuman together with Parohinog quickly put out the torching run Guimaras had after taking over in the clutch with some timely baskets.

With the win, ODM remains at the number one spot and is the only undefeated team in the Dinagyang Basketball Cup.
