Are you ready, Capiz?

After almost eight months of taking a break from staging the biggest basketball leagues in the Province of Capiz, the On D’ Move (ODM) Sports League will now make its grand return in the scene and will aim to end 2023 with a bang.

In partnership with Cong. Howard Guintu and BM Pepe Del Rosario, the ODM Sports League headed by founder Jeremiah Obera is set to bring the ODM Robinsons 3×3 basketball league this coming December 9, 2023.

Seeking to bring a unique experience to the Capiznon ballers, Obera collaborated with Robinsons Mall to make this event happen and will be staged inside the mall just like the PBA 3×3 professional league setup.

“To all my fellow Capiznons, thank you sa warm welcome nyo liwat sa pag balik sang ODM Sports League. Para ini tanan sa inyo and most especially sa aspiring ballers sang aton probinsya,” said Obera in an exclusive interview with the Daily Guardian.

A total of 50 teams coming from Roxas City, Iloilo, Carles, Pototan, and Aklan already registered in the upcoming ODM Robinsons 3×3 league.

Three categories will then cater all the teams: 15-under, 17-under, 21-under, and will be played under a single elimination tournament format.

For the 15-U category, the teams will be divided into four brackets. For the 17-U, two brackets, and four brackets for the 21-U.

The top two teams in each bracket will then advance to the playoff stage where a crossover match between the no.1 and the no. 2 ranked teams will take place.

Despite the long wait, Obera guaranteed a smooth-sailing 3×3 event and is hoping for an action-packed 3×3 event inside Robinsons Mall.

“This will be a great start in the preparation for something big this 2024. Umpisa pa lang ini. ODM Sports League’s passion for sports will never stop and ari lang gd kami gyapon to provide the avenue for our Capiznon ballers,” added Obera.
