One of the most popular sportswear companies in Western Visayas just gave back to their community in Roxas City.

ODM Sportswear, owned and managed by Jeremiah Obera, thought that with the blessings they are currently receiving amid this pandemic, they should also give back to the people who are in need in this time of the crisis.

Also, with the current development in the country’s educational system amid the COVID-19 pandemic where everyone is at home answering modules and listening to their online classes, Obera and his team came up with a plan of donating power banks to their kasimanwas prioritizing the students at home.

Aiming to lend extra help to students at home, ODM purchased power banks to make sure that students are able to power their devices while taking their classes.

50 pieces of Romoss power banks will be given by the sportswear team in the first batch and they are also preparing another set of donations for the second batch.

“Nakita man namon nga subong nga pandemic nabudlayan ang mga estudyante sa homeschooling especially ang mga pigado gid sa pangabuhi. Hindi man namon afford gid magdonate sang cellphones and tablets, so nagpanumdom kami kung ano ang pwede idonate sa community kag isa ang powerbank nga nakita namon nga maayo gid nga ihatag. Tungod man nakatipon man ko gamay sa profit namon sa ODM Sportswear kag sa ODM Kicks, nakabakal kami 50pcs for the 1st batch. E-try namon kung damo gid sang gakinahanglan, tani mag ok ang sales this November sang shops para makahatag pagid sa iba,” said Obera in an exclusive interview with the Daily Guardian.
