The young and upcoming OJNA/IYB Mobile Bar Crocodiles handed the Queen’s Pension House another beating, 103-78, in the ongoing JB ABL League in Iloilo City.
Youth this time prevailed over experience, as the youngsters from OJNA displayed their high-octane offense every time they had the chance to run in the break.
Vincent Conlu and his squad seemed to be gassed during fast-breaks situations as the young Crocs ran every time.
The lead was cut to just 11 in the third canto courtesy of Conlu and Rey Tupas, but the Crocs had an answer for them at each turn, may it be off a tip-in or an easy layup.
The lead began to balloon in the final canto as OJNA still continued to burn rubber, making it hard for the Queen’s squad to keep up with their pace.
Paul Matta won the best player of the game honors, chalking up 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Everybody is invited to come and witness JB ABL’s first all-star game, this November 3, 2019 at the La Paz covered court.
