BACOLOD City – A collision between two motorcycles resulted in the death of a man and caused injuries to four others in Barangay Tinampa-an, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.
Police Captain Gina Fernandez, deputy chief of Cadiz City Police Station, identified the fatality as Rogelio Danao of the said village.
Wounded were Danao’s companion Rolly Ramirez, 25, of Barangay Tinampa-an, and riders of the other motorcycle – John Paul Cabrera, 24, Christian Cabrera, 19, and Jomar Deginion, 29, all residents of Barangay Zone 6, based on a police report.
Fernandez said that all five of them were on their way home when Danao suddenly crossed the road without warning and collided with John Paul’s driven motorcycle.
Fernandez said that Danao passed away in a hospital while the four other wounded victims suffered minor injuries.
