P1.8-M ‘shabu’ seized in Negros Oriental

BACOLOD City – Police confiscated 265 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,802,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok 4, Barangay Bolocboloc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental last Sunday.

Based on a report from Police Regional Office (PRO)-7, the suspect was identified as 42-year-old Ian Rey Completo of Barangay Batinguel, Dumaguete City.

Completo is a high-value individual, according to the police.

Also recovered from him were a motorcycle, marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

The recovered illegal drugs were turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit for examination while drug charges have been filed against the suspect.

In a statement, Police Brigadier General Anthony Aberin, PRO-7 director, said that policemen in Central Visayas are committed to suppressing the proliferation of illegal drugs and strengthening the operation against wanted persons in the region.

“Your days are numbered,” Aberin said.

He commended his men for another big haul of illegal drugs in the region.
