BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has unveiled its second Philippine National Police (PNP) standard building here with the construction of the new Police Station 5 in Barangay Granada.

Brigadier General Archival Macala, deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) of Police Regional Office (PRO)-6, city officials led by Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, and lot donor Michael Lawrence Bantug, president of Bantug Lake Ranch Development led the inauguration rites last Thursday.

According to the BCPO, the structure costs P10 million and was funded through the Office of Abang Lingkod Partylist Rep. Stephen Paduano.

It is situated in a 500 square meter lot donated by the Bantug family.

This development came a month after Police Station 7 also inaugurated the first PNP standard building in Barangay Mansilingan here on October 25.

The city has 10 police stations and 8 others have yet to have the PNP standard building.
