P3.4-M in ‘shabu’ seized in San Carlos

BACOLOD City – About 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million was seized at Margarita village, Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental yesterday.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 and San Carlos City Police Station subjected Emil Mariano, 39, of Barangay 6, to a buy-bust operation.

According to the police, Mariano is a high value individual.

Also recovered from him during the operation were the P10,100 marked money, sling bag, motorcycle, and a red box.

Mariano is detained at the police station pending the filing of drug charges.
