BACOLOD City – Police officers seized an estimated P650,400 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Negros island on Aug 7, 2019.
In Negros Oriental, Mark Alconera, 26, of Barangay Daro, Dumaguete City was arrested at Bogo cemetery in Barangay Taclobo after police confiscated from his possession 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams and valued at P340,000, a lighter, and the P500 marked money.
Alconera is a street level target of the provincial level, police records indicated.
Also arrested in the province was Jesse Ebol Ensertado, 28, of Barangay Calangag, Bacong town, which resulted in the recovery of five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 25 grams and worth P170,000, a cellular phone, and the P500 marked money. He is a drug surrenderee.
In Siaton town, Melfred Agoncillo, 24, of Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City was collared at Barangay 1 after he allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu weighing three grams worth P20,400, and the P500 marked money.
Agoncillo is a street level target on the drugs watchlist of the police.
In Negros Occidental, Rene Garcitos, 29, of Barangay Lantad, Silay City was arrested at the said village.
Police seized from him five sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams worth P120,000, improvised tooter, the P500 marked money, and the P4,000 boodle or fake money.
