BACOLOD City – Policemen conducted series of buy-bust operations this week which resulted in the seizure of P759,000 worth of suspected shabu here and in Negros Occidental.
Police Station 3 here has recorded the biggest confiscation with P405,000 worth of suspected shabu from Reymar Abada, 33, of Barangay Banago here last Saturday.
Also arrested that day at Barangay 28 here was Arnold Rufon, 35, of Barangay 31 here, while his companion was able to escape during the operation. Police seized from them P19,000 worth of suspected shabu. He is detained at Police Station 5.
In Silay City, Ceasar Parreño, 62, of Barangay Lantad; and Ma. Shella Opao, 41, of Barangay E. Lopez were arrested at Barangay E. Lopez yesterday after police seized from them P90,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Last Sunday, Reynaldo Cientos, 44, of Barangay 29 here was arrested at the said village for the confiscation of P12,000 worth of suspected shabu. He is detained at Police Station 1.
Last January 3, Michelle Tayo, 29, of Barangay Handumanan; Regis Bobole, 38, of Barangay Tangub; Bryan Matos, 34; and a 17-year-old boy, both residents of Barangay 3 were arrested at Barangay 3 here for the recovery of P30,000 worth of suspected shabu. All four suspects are detained at Police Station 2.
Also arrested last Friday at Barangay 27 here was 26-year-old Charlene Grace Jobero after she allegedly yielded P35,000 worth of suspected shabu. She is detained at Police Station 6.
In Kabankalan City, 1. Jeoffrey Quirogo, 38, of Barangay 16 here; Edcel Salgado, 43, of Hinigaran town; Carlito Neuva España, 48, of Barangay Binicuil, a drug surrenderer; and Myrna Sanchez, 50, of Barangay Mandalagan here were arrested at Barangay Binicuil last Friday for the confiscation of P168,000 worth of suspected shabu.
