P839,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized, 10 persons arrested

BACOLOD City – A total of P839,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations here and in Negros Occidental in the past two days.

In Kabankalan City, Marialyn Tabujara, 39 , of Barangay 1, a high value target, and under the drugs watchlist of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA); and Eric Razonable, 37, of Zamboanga Del Norte, a street level target, and a businessman were arrested in a buy-bust for the alleged seizure of P425,000 worth of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.

Razonable tried to escape but he was cornered by the authorities.

In Cadiz City, Rolando Llanto Jr., 25, of Barangay  Zone 6, a construction worker was arrested in a drug bust at the said village which resulted in the confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,000, and the P500 marked money. He is a street level target.

In Bacolod City, Princess Abanilla, 20, of Barangay 19 here was arrested in a drug bust after police recovered from her seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P45,000, the P500 marked money, and P700 cash. She is detained at Police Station 4.

Also arrested at Barangay 12 here were Eduardo Glorial, 44, Reynaldo Ayuste, 24, Jean Silangan, 28, Arnaldo Gidaya, 55, and Ronald Segovia, 42 after police seized from them 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P26,000, the P300 marked money, drug paraphernalia, and P350 cash. All suspects are detained at Police Station  1.

In Negros Oriental, Aldrin Mores, 49, of Dumaguete City was arrested at Barangay Looc for the confiscation of 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000, the P1,000 marked money, and a .45 caliber pistol with a magazine loaded with seven live ammunition.
