BACOLOD City – Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz on Monday said the administration of Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will prioritize three major areas in 2020.
Diaz said Lacson announced his priorities during the recent Provincial Development Council meeting.
Among the main projects are the renovation and repair of the Panaad Stadium which will be the main venue of the Palarong Pambansa to be hosted by the province in 2021.
“We want to have a better venue for the Palaro so we will give priority to the renovation of the Panaad Stadium because our facilities are already dilapidated,” Diaz said.
The provincial government will also prioritize Disaster Preparedness and road networks in relation to the government’s thrust of Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict.
“This will eliminate the breeding grounds for discontentment and will give better access to the delivery of the basic services of the government,” Diaz added.
