It’s final, the PBA will be back and will be staged in Clark, Pampanga following their planned bubble similar to the NBA’s.

After almost two months of thorough deliberation and weighing in the pros and cons, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and the PBA board agreed to mimic the NBA bubble.

“We’re very positive this will push through. This is good for us, this is good for the people, this is good for the economy,” PBA chairman Ricky Vargas said.

After Marcial consulted with the players who unanimously decided for a PBA bubble, the commissioner immediately held a meeting with the board to relay the suggestions discussed in their meeting.

With the decision now finalized, Vargas, Marcial, and the rest of the board spilled that the bubble will be taking place in Angeles University Foundation.

Regarding their place to stay, the PBA tapped Quest Hotel which is only a 10-minute ride from the venue.

Commissioner Marcial further shared that the hotel can accommodate up to 350 guests which include people in the bubble, television crew, PBA staff, media, and the referees.

“The PBA is coming. Just a few more weeks and you will be able to watch the PBA on television,” Marcial said.

However, the PBA will still await the decision of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases regarding the green light for the bubble plan.
