The Philippine Basketball Association has recently announced that they are opening the PBA 3×3 league and the presence of the draft in the tournament format.

Slowly adapting to the 3×3 format, the PBA committee has finally decided to form a league and create a PBA 3×3 draft setting with teams.

The start of the league is yet to be announced but the registration for the 3×3 draft applicants will start this February 17.

The PBA 3x3league is in conjunction with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and was approved by the board after a series of meetings.

The purpose of the 3×3 league is to establish the familiarity of the 3×3 format among the Filipino hoopers to create a uniform ruling adapted from the FIBA rules.
