After meeting with player representatives from each team, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed the players’ willingness to play inside a bubble for their season to resume.

During the most recent meeting conducted by Marcial, he invited several key PBA players to get their take on their proposed PBA bubble for the upcoming season.

Marcial highlighted the players’ desire to come back and play as well as the safety the bubble would be able to provide them.

Furthermore, Marcial also said that the players do not want the closed-circuit setup where the players will be staying at their own homes and travel to both their practice facilities and where the game will be held.

“Nobody asked me what will happen if a player does not want to play. That means they are all willing to play,” Marcial said.

Players present in the meeting were Magnolia’s Marc Pingris, San Miguel’s Arwind Santos, Rain or Shine’s Beau Belga, and TnT’s Jayson Castro.

Marcial said that he will forward the key points and suggestions the PBA players presented to the PBA board as they look to finalize the preparations they need for the league restart.
