The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Iloilo Chapter has launched two exhibits for the Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards (IEA) 2024, showcasing business excellence and supporting the community.
The latest exhibit opened on December 16 at SM Delgado, featuring artworks by Ilonggo artists. Proceeds from the sales will benefit Cancervants Iloilo, a youth-focused organization aiding children with cancer.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the event, attended by prominent figures, including SM Delgado Marketing Head Andie Cepe, Leasing Head Lorelen Damasco, Branch Manager Michael Vincoy, IEA 2024 Chairman Francis Gerona, PCCI Iloilo Corporate Secretary Frank Limsui, Executive Director Zyril De los Angeles, and IEA 2024 core team members Nic Caspe and Kevin Francis Cruz.
Gerona emphasized PCCI Iloilo’s dedication to making a positive impact on society.
“Aside from doing business, we would like to also extend our efforts to impact the community,” he said, highlighting the organization’s focus on blending entrepreneurship with social responsibility.
Another exhibit was inaugurated on December 15 at Festive Walk Iloilo and will run until December 21.
This showcase highlights the achievements of IEA 2024 and celebrates the success of previous honorees, including Entrepreneur of the Year Gerry Guadarrama, Young Entrepreneur awardee Mikka Ella Perlas, and Aspiring Entrepreneur winner Mari Martirez.
The centerpiece of the exhibit is the Tariktik trophy, designed by Ilonggo artist Marrz Capanang. Inspired by the endangered Visayan hornbill, the trophy symbolizes resilience and purpose-driven excellence, reflecting the determination of Ilonggo entrepreneurs.
These exhibits unite art, business, and advocacy, exemplifying the community spirit of the Ilonggo people while supporting a worthy cause.
