CONCEPCION, ILOILO — Palm Concepcion Power Corporation (PCPC) reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability through a ceremonial tree planting at the power plant’s coal yard.
The activity was part of PCPC’s 8th anniversary celebration on August 16, themed “Gener8 and Innov8 at 8.” The event highlighted the power plant’s return to full operation (Gener8) and the launch of its new solar power facility (Innov8).
“At PCPC, we are proud to say we are changing the narrative in the energy sector. From a typical power provider, we are now innovating and ensuring not just a brighter future, but a cleaner one for all with our solar projects,” Jacinto Ray D. Ng III, Business Development Manager of PCPC, said.
PCPC President and CEO Nicandro Fucoy noted that the completion of the 5.1 MW solar facility marks only the beginning, with more solar projects planned for the coming years.
