PGG employees honored at PAHO Awards 2023

A total of 69 employees of the Provincial Government of Guimaras (PGG) were recognized for their years of public service and for their vital contribution in the attainment of the PGG’s goals and accomplishments during the conduct of PGG Awards and Honors 2023 on December 18 at the Provincial Capitol Gym, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.

Forty-eight employees who are 10, 20, and 30 years in service received the Loyalty Service Award.

For Career and Self Development Award, 19 employees were recognized for completing their post-graduate studies, passing the Civil Service Examination and various licensure examinations administered by the Professional Regulations Commission.

A Special Award was given to two employees for Individual Category and to the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) in Group Category for their exemplary performance in their respective field.

Meanwhile, 22 employees of the PGG who have retired from service this year were conferred with Service Award and Php 5,000.00 cash incentive for their dedicated service during their honorable career.

Governor JC Rahman A. Nava, MD conveyed gratitude to the employees of the Provincial Government of Guimaras for their contribution in the attainment of PGG’s goals and vision.

“The Provincial Government commends this certain award to recognize the individual dedication of every employee for the province. Guimaras is what it is because of the contribution of every employee,” Governor Nava said.

The Provincial Government of Guimaras Awards and Honors (PAHO) is the rewards and recognition program of the Provincial Government of Guimaras (PGG), which aims to encourage, recognize, and reward employees, either individually or in groups, for their suggestions, innovative ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, heroic deeds, exemplary behavior, extraordinary acts or services in the public interest and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy and improvement in government operations, which lead to organizational productivity.
