One of the most exciting superstars of the Philippines’ men’s national football team will be seeing action with Thailand’s League 1 champs BG Pathum United.

The Thai football club released a statement welcoming Kevin Ingreso and is excited to win more titles with the Filipino booter.

“BG Pathum United is delighted to the completion of the signing of Kevin Ingreso who is the second player who joins ‘The Rabbit’ in this transfer window after Chitchanok Xaysensourinthone and the German-Filipino midfielder will be wearing number 16 for the club,” read the club’s statement.

A former Ceres-Negros FC player (now United City FC), the 28-year-old star delivered one of the best international performances for the PH during 2019 when he scored against Tajikistan that paved the way for the Azkals heading into the AFC Asian Cup.

Ingreso was also part of the legendary 2017 and 2018 championship roster of Ceres where they won both the Philippines Football League (PFL) in those consecutive years and lifted the 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zonal title.

“Personally, I see BGPU as a strong and experienced team with professional management so it’s amazing to join this great club. Most importantly, I have to work harder to help the team to defend its title, and I hope to write another chapter with the club in the coming up season,” said Ingreso.
