PHINMA-UI scores 100% passing rate in 2019 Nursing board

PHINMA University of Iloilo (PHINMA UI) achieved a 100% passing rate for first-time takers in this year’s National Licensure Examinations for Nurses given by the Professional Regulation Commission.

The national passing rate for first-time takers is 86.24%. Three other PHINMA schools garnered the same result as well: Southwestern University PHINMA (SWU), PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College (COC), and PHINMA Araullo University (AU).

On the other hand, PHINMA University of Pangasinan (PHINMA UPang) was recently ranked Top 9 Best Performing School in the June 2019 National Nursing Licensure Examinations, with an average of 87.88% passing rate for first-time takers. UPang student Tricia Jan Galves Bautista, incidentally, attained an average of 86.40%, allowing her to take the top six slot in the National Nursing Licensure Examinations.

Bautista is yet another addition to UPang’s impressive track record of producing board topnotchers, as the university is considered one of the Best Performing Schools in the Philippine Nursing boards. In 2018, UPang was recognized as the Top 2 Best Performing School, with 3 graduates in the top ten slots: board topnotcher Mark Tristan Robosa, top 7 Chielon Abalos, and top 10 Daisy Albright Fernandez.

In the 2017 boards, PHINMA UPang was ranked fourth Best Performing School. PHINMA University of Pangasinan been acknowledged as a consistent producer of board topnotchers since 2016.
