BACOLOD CITY—Seven individuals were arrested, and PHP1,042,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated in three buy-bust operations in Bacolod City last week.

In Barangay Mansilingan, a 25-year-old woman, identified as alias “Trisha,” was apprehended on Saturday.

She allegedly yielded 55 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP440,000, along with 17 sachets of the substance, PHP1,000 in marked money, and PHP270 in cash.

Trisha is currently detained at Police Station 7.

On the same day, four individuals, including two cousins and their friends, were arrested in Barangay 1 for possessing 65 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP442,000.

Police Major Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 2, said the operation targeted alias “Emerson,” who was flagged for alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.

Tolentino added that the three other suspects allegedly conspired with Emerson in selling the contraband.

Police have tagged Emerson as a high-value individual, while his three companions are considered street-level individuals.

Earlier in the week, Police Station 1 arrested two young individuals in Barangay 12 on Wednesday.

The suspects, identified as alias “Risa,” 23, and alias “Makoy,” 21, were caught with 16 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP160,000.

Authorities acted on validated intelligence before carrying out the operation.

All suspects are now in police custody, facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).
