One of the pioneer organic stores in Negros Occidental and in the Country has opened a new store in the southern part of Bacolod City over the weekend.
Fresh Start Organic Natural Store & Cafe, which started in 2005, held the soft opening of its new store located at Corner Araneta Highway, Bangga Sitio Aning in Barangay Pahanocoy, Saturday [July 10].
Ramon “Chinchin” Uy Jr, co-founder of Fresh Start Organic & Natural Store Cafe, said their restaurant sells produce straight from the organic farms and farmers in the province of Negros Occidental.
“Our new store and cafe will be opening a new wing for al fresco dining and soon a second phase that will also feature a larger al fresco garden setup,” Uy said.
The cafe serves organic greens salad, cold pressed juice, and other organic food all sourced from the farm and made from scratch daily.
The retail section features different organic products from fresh to processed, as well as organic herbs, vegetable seedlings and fertilizers.
Fresh Start used to have mall-based stores in Bacolod.
The Pandemic forced us to close our 2 stores in the mall and relocate to our main office to continue serving the consumers with our fresh , local and healthy menu.
Our new location offers a relaxing farm and garden atmosphere within the city. The pandemic won’t stop our customers from enjoying their favorite healthy dishes with indoor and outdoor dining that adheres to safety health protocols.
Established 16 years ago, Fresh Start has been one of the leaders in the organic movement, as well as an advocate for Slow Food, fair trade, and a better sustainable food system for all.
The store opens daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Uy reminds their customers to wear face mask and shield when going to their store, and to observe physical distancing and other health protocols against COVID-19.
