BACOLOD City – Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of Philippine National Police (PNP) is scheduled to visit police offices here and in Negros Occidental on July 10, 2021.
Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, information officer of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), said that it is part of the PNP chief’s command visit in various police offices and police stations in the country upon his assumption.
Donasco said that Eleazar will be leading the inauguration of the Kapanalig Recognition Wall at Nocppo headquarters here.
Donasco said that only a limited number of guests will be allowed during Eleazar’s visit, pursuant to community quarantine guidelines.
However, she said that government officials and local chief executives are expected to come over the headquarters during his visit.
Meanwhile, Police Major Sherlock Gabana, information officer of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said that Eleazar will also be leading the groundbreaking and inauguration of the BCPO’s flagpole and parade ground.
The new flagpole could be the tallest in Bacolod or even in the whole province, according to the BCPO.
Gabana said that they will have a separate ceremony for Eleazar when he arrives here.
It will be Eleazar’s first visit here and in the province.
