The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) just announced the 16 final players who will represent the country in the future.

After the week-long tryout bubble formed by the PNVF, the coaching staff and the organization hand-picked who they think can form a decent squad with discipline, talent, and work ethic.

Headlining the list are 30th Southeast Asian Games hold-overs Aby Marano, Majoy Baron, Eye Laure, and Mylene Paat.

Completing the list of the Filipina spikers are Iris Tolenada, Kamille Cal, Faith Nisperos, Ivy Lacsina, Mhicaela Belen, Dell Palomata, Ria Meneses, Imee Hernandez, Jennifer Nierva, and Bernadette Pepito.

Also, one of the most celebrated volleyball players and national team veteran Jaja Santiago will be returning to the lineup and is expected to provide leadership to the young team.

“We are presenting the men and women of Philippine volleyball who will do battle in two important tournaments later this year,” PNVF President Tats Suzara said.

Head coach Odjie Mamon however confirmed that they are yet to name who will fill the final positions for their setter, outside hitter, libero, and opposite spiker to finally complete their 20 members.
