BACOLOD City – The station commander of Police Station 4 here was relieved from his post effective May 22, 2020.

Police Major Reynante Jomocan from Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) was ordered transferred to Iloilo City Police Office.

The order was signed by Police Colonel Lope Manlapaz, officer-in-charge of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD) of Police Regional Office -6.

According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, public information officer of BCPO, Jomocan’s relief has nothing to do with the recent case he is handling on the killing of a businessman here.

“It was just a normal process. It’s also for his incoming promotion, considering that he is a native of Iloilo,” he said.

Jomocan was replaced by Police Major Charles Gever, who was formerly assigned at the BCPO administrative office.

Meanwhile, Police Major Gary Alan Resuma was also relieved from ICPO to BCPO.

Pico said Police Colonel Henry Biñas, BCPO director, will decide on Resuma’s assignment here.

Resuma was with Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) before his assignment to Iloilo.
