BACOLOD City – The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) in Negros Occidental appealed to voters not to use surveys as basis for choosing their candidates for the May 9, 2022 polls.
PPCRV-Negros Occidental head Fr. Chris Gonzales said that survey platforms have become “unreliable” as a lot of stories are now coming out questioning the accuracy of the surveys.
Gonzales pointed out that surveys are the basis taken from the population with regards to certain issues, but the survey’s reputation has been tarnished.
He pointed out that he is not saying that the surveys are either true or false
Gonzales urged the voters not to be swayed by the information they receive, but rather dig deeper and analyze each candidate before voting for them.
The PPCRV is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-profit organization affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines.
The group is responsible for poll education campaign and serves as a watchdog against all types of electoral.
