TWELVE uniformed personnel of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) received the Medalya ngPapuri or the PNP Commendation Medal at Camp Delgado on Sept 2, 2019.
Police Major Josephine Jomocan, PSSG Jonel M Romero and PCpl Jonathan Tuzon of Numancia Municipal Police Station for the successful conduct of buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of Hilberto Reyes Jr. at Brgy. Marianos, Numancia, Aklan on July 26, 2019.
Recovered from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
Police Lieutenant Haidee Sobrino, PSMS Juanito Yson and PCpl Princess Barcebal of Belison Municipal Police Station in Antique were cited for the arrest of Christian June R Del Rosario, the No. 5 most wanted person in the province, on July 26, 2019.
The same medal was also given to Police Major James Allen Dogao, PSMS Rex Himodo and Pat Archie Ian Puga members of Iloilo City/RSOT, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Field Unit 6 for the arrest of Emmanuel Y Delgado at Brgy. Jalaud, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on August 9, 2019 for illegal possession of firearms
The other awardees were PSMS Rolly B Badoles, PSSg Michelle Belarmino and PCpl Jaspher Isidoro members of Roxas City Police Station, Station Drug Enforcement Team for busting suspected drug pusher Eduardo D Conanan on July 4, 2019 at Brgy. Cagay, Roxas City.
The awarding happened during the flag raising and awarding ceremonies at the camp.
Police Brigadier General Rene P Pamuspusan, Western Visayas top cop congratulated the awardees and directed the men and women of PRO-6 to continue neutralizing wanted persons in the region.
