Four outstanding stakeholders of Philippine Statistics Authority in Aklan were recognized by the regional office during the Outstanding PSA Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony held on September 29 at Zuri Hotel, Iloilo City.
The entities acknowledged during the ceremony were Aklan Catholic College, cited for their contributions in the category of Outstanding Partners in PSA Statistical Advocacy Activities (Academe); Energy FM 107.7 Kalibo, recognized for their outstanding efforts in media for Radio Network Category, Aklan Cable Television Co., Inc. for TV Network category, and The Daily Guardian for print media category.
Each awardee received a Plaque of Appreciation presented by Mrs. Nelida C. Amolar, the Officer-in-Charge Regional Director of PSA in Western Visayas.
The recognition ceremony was organized by the PSA Regional Office to express gratitude and appreciation for the unwavering support and invaluable contributions of these institutions as vital partners in delivering PSA’s products and services to the public.
“The role of stakeholders is pivotal in compiling quality statistics and in efficiently implementing civil registration services and identification systems for they serve as an effective means to easily reach out our target population, hence, they deserved to be recognized,” said Engr. Antonet Catubuan, PSA Aklan head.
The citation given to these four entities underscores the significance of establishing partnerships and collaborations to effectively carry out PSA’s mandates.
Meanwhile, Mr. Joefel Magpusao, Station Manager of Energy FM-Kalibo, in his speech during the program expressed his gratitude to PSA for the recognition they received and thanked his colleagues for extending time and effort to assist the needs of PSA especially in disseminating relevant information to the public.
He vowed to continuously support the PSA in its undertakings to efficiently achieved its goals.
The awarding ceremony aligns with the agency’s 10th-year anniversary celebration, themed “PSA @ 10: Providing Quality Services through Digital Transformation.”
