One of the best fighters from the renowned Team Lakay Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) stable is making his return in ONE Fighting Championship.
Jeremy Pacatiw, a highly-touted bantamweight prospect mentored by head coach Mark Sangiao and Team Lakay, is headed for a comeback fight in the upcoming ONE: Full Circle this February 25 to be held in Singapore.
The Team Lakay ward will be facing a tough task of taking down Brazilian Fabricio Andrade and admitted that he will have to be in peak condition to win.
“I’d say that my upcoming fight with Fabricio Andrade will be the most ambitious pursuit I have in my career as I get a chance to face a ranked fighter,” said Pacatiw.
Andrade is known to be one of the most technical fighters in ONE’s bantamweight division and also possesses a slick striking game with quick hand speed.
However, Pacatiw said they’re already preparing for whatever Andrade will bring to the table and that they will do their best to secure the win and move up the ranks of the bantamweight division.
“Getting that win will definitely draw me closer to the top. Indeed, this is another opportunity for me to unleash my skills and I can’t wait,” Pacatiw added.
Currently, Pacatiw holds an impressive professional MMA record of 11 wins, four losses, and is riding on his two-fight winning streak.
On the other hand, the Brazilian mixed martial artist has six wins and two losses and is seeking to extend his winning streak to six.
