SAFE AND DEVOTED VALENTINE’S MOMENTS

COVID-19 may have slowed us down but it did not stop us from celebrating Valentine’s Day

We missed the usual Valentine’s shindigs but some of our friends still managed to celebrate in a safe and romantic way.

Find it out here, dahlings…

Sweet couple Dr. Napoleon Tiongco and Sheilla Marie Golez Tiongco: “We woke up to tons of my favorite pink roses from the hallway to their room. We opened our gifts after breakfast in bed and the kids prepared and cooked dinner for us. Sooooo sweet! We had champagne with chocolate truffles and pistachio-crusted scallops while having so much fun at home. such a lovely ♥️day with my loves!
Romantic pair Angel Alan Celino and Sarah Jane Lupera: “Ah, season of LOVE. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, we spent our Valentines here at home with family. And while that might sound boring, it’s actually the perfect excuse to plan a special indoor/outdoor family activity. And I think this is so much fun and a memorable one.”
Lovely Couple Engr. Jungi and Putli Fuerte: “We happily spent our Valentine’s Day as we enjoyed the freshness of nature in our soon-to-open lush garden-inspired haven at Guimaras Island and later in the evening had a romantic dinner of barbecued beef ribs with vegetable salad and fine dining in the comfort of our home with red wine and, of course, candlelight.”
Fun couple Capt. Relly Jose Jr. and Barbara Rhodora Jose: “With this Covid-19 pandemic, we continue to be romantic. We love and grow together as if we’re falling in love forever! we believe nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood! We stay healthy by keeping our hearts and selves clean! Happy Valentine’s day everyone.
Lovey dovies Freddy and Darlene Go: “We spent our Heart’s day here at our new guest house. With Darlene’s project during the pandemic who did everything from being the architect to interior designing.”
Lovely Couple Gus and Pauline Gorriceta-Banusing with their children Nadine and Justin: Glam Chef Pauline said “Valentine’s day was a working day” for them, “my husband Gus has been used to this for 22 years of us together. He knows I am happiest when working and when all my events are successful. We definitely celebrated after the day with a quiet and relaxing dinner at home with our children Nadine and Justin.”
Romantic Lovebirds David Wayne and Joey Moss: “Well, Valentine this year will be spent at the beach with Japanese foodies & tropical delicacies. That’s exciting to both me & David as we have spent all our Valentine dinners in flashy restaurants in Minneapolis. We avoid eating indoors to be safe. This is our 1st Valentine’s together as retirees in Iloilo City. So basically, Covid did not really change our plans. It’s not where you dine but with ‘whom’.”
Fun couple Drs. Rollin and Daisy Tabuena: “Despite the limitations brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic, Valentine’s Day is still a special day to take a break from the monotony of everyday life if not struggles. As a physician couple, we embarked with our daily Zumba exercises along with our dance instructor. It is through this routine that we bonded as a couple and as a family. My wife received a surprise bouquet delivered through a courier with an ‘I love you’ sign followed by a quick pictorial with our son. Though the day is special, as medical frontliners, we continued our daily purpose by making rounds with our admitted patients in the hospitals then followed by an intimate dinner in a hotel. Not with standing, we have this AHA moment of the need to find time amidst the hustle and bustle as medical responders and be grateful for the blessings and our health, family, and friends. Our relationships with them are valued above money or wealth. Thus, enabling us to face every morning with a renewed sense of purpose-driven life.
Your Pagemaker with Twins Christian and Jesse: Well, since most of the time now I spend time in my hometown in Mambusao, Capiz together with my nephews, twin brothers Jesse and Christian, we hide away to our family-owned mountain haven and enjoyed an array of native homecooked luncheon fares and few chill outs to warm our senses because it rained cats and dogs that day.
