SBP 3×3 tourney culminates as 48 teams remain

After two grueling and competitive months of eliminations, the Samahang Basktebol ng Pilipinas 3×3 Pambansang Tatluhan tournament boiled down to just 48 teams, 32 for boys and 16 for girls, in the Under 18 Regional finals and will battle it out this September 29, 2019 at the Ateneo de Iloilo gym.

Winning teams in the past eliminations will grind it out to take the last and final spot as champions of the regionals and will represent Region VI at the national level.

Teams from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Negros, Bacolod City, Iloilo Province, Passi City, and Iloilo City will battle it out in the hopes of coming on top and represent Region VI

The 32 teams that will compete in the boys’ division are: Malinao, Aklan, Tibiao, Antique, STI-WNU, Hercor A, Guimaras A, Hua Siong, Ninja United Tigbauan, Pototan Nasyo, St Roberts A, Colegio De la Purisima A, Hercor B, Santa Clarita, USA Gold, USLS Green, UNO-R, HSCI Phoenix, Exodus Kalibo, HSCI Dragon, Guimaras B, USLS White, SRIA B, Passi City, Naisud NHS, LAUA-AN, SPYRO, ACADEMIA, CPC B, OTON Elite, WILFPIDO, SIBALOM, Bongs 8 Carwash and JMNHS.

The 16 teams that will compete in the girls’ category are CPU A, WILFPIDO Aklan, CPC Roxas City, Pavia Angels, STICK, ICNHS B, Bacolod NHS, UNO-R, P413, HAMTIC Antique, Pototan Oking, Calinog A, Patriots Dingle, Guimaras A, and B.

The main sponsor of the 3×3 event is Toyota Iloilo headed by Robert L. Uy as SBP Regional Director for Region 6 supported by the LGUs.
