BACOLOD City – A seaman died after he was killed in a road accident along Circumferential road, Bangga Villamar, Barangay Mandalagan here last Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Khenn Sayson, 32, of Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police Staff Sergeant Richard Dema-ala, traffic investigator of Police Station 3, said the victim was allegedly speeding on his way home according to a witness.
Dema-ala said the victim might have hit a steel pipe and was thrown off the motorcycle into a vacant lot.
A motorist, who passed by the area, saw the victim’s motorcycle and sought assistance from the nearby police at the border control, he added.
Dema-ala said the victim might have hit his head upon falling onto the ground and hurt himself despite wearing a helmet.
