BACOLOD City – Seven persons, including two minors were arrested here and in Negros Occidental for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in the past three days.
In Kabankalan City, Rene Ramos, 57, of Barangay Binicuil, a level one high value target was arrested in a buy-bust at the said village last Monday for the recovery of six sachets of suspected shabu worth P72,000, and the marked money.
In Pontevedra town, Joven Gaspalinao, 33, of Barangay Miranda, and a drug surrenderer, was arrested in a drug bust last Monday, after police seized from him four sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,000, and the P500 marked money.
Also arrested by personnel of Police Station 4 last Sunday at Barangay 23 here was a 16-year-old girl who allegedly yielded four sachets of supected shabu worth P15,000, and the P500 marked money.
The following day, Irene Teorica and two others were arrested in a drug raid at Barangay 30 here, after police confiscated from them nine sachets of suspected shabu worth P15,000, and the P200 marked money.
In San Carlos City, a minor was also arrested at Barangay 3 yesterday, after police recovered from him a sachet of suspected shabu and two aluminium foils.
The minor was allegedly involved in a traffic accident when his driven motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck at Barangay 6.
The minor was turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD).
