BACOLOD City – Police conducted a series of buy-bust operations that resulted in the arrest of seven individuals and the seizure of P205,100 worth of suspected shabu here and in Negros Occidental from April 11 to 13.
Of the amount, P158,100 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated in the province, while P47,000 worth of the same contraband were seized here.
Six persons were apprehended in the cities of Silay, San Carlos, Bago, and Himamaylan, and the towns of Moises Padilla and Ilog in the province.
The biggest drug recovery amounting to P68,000 was reported in Moises Padilla town on April 12.
In Bacolod, one person was arrested in Barangay Banago yesterday. He is detained at Police Station 5.
