The Sista Super Sealers headlined one of the sweetest comebacks in the currently ongoing PBA 3×3 event.

After failing to clinch a single win in the first leg of the prestigious tournament, the quartet of Kenneth Mocon, Prince Rivero, Leo De Vera, and RJ Argamino did the unthinkable and reversed their fortunes to end the PBA 3×3 Leg 3 with the championship trophy in their hands.

The Super Sealers outdueled the Pioneer Pro Tibay, 21-13, and went home with the 100,000-pesos grand prize.

It was a different Sista team from the previous two legs after going undefeated in six games before earning the title in the third leg.

Mocon was a man on a mission and went beast mode from their first game as he was just consistent on the offensive end, scoring whenever the team needed him to stop the bleeding.

During the grand finals game against Pioneer, the boys in yellow and green wasted no time and immediately built a huge double-digit lead for a comfortable cushion.

The Super Sealers were ahead 18-7 with 1:56 remaining in the game, but the resiliency of Pioneer courtesy of Carlo De Chavez’s hot hands helped them build a mini-run to stay within striking distance.

However, Mocon and the Super Sealers closed the show with their crisp passing that set up open looks in the remaining one-minute stretch.

“Gusto lang talaga namin manalo ever since the start–first game pa lang. Every game we learned. And, alam namin sa sarili namin na magkakaroon ng time na, ito na nga, ‘yung chemistry namin mabubuo na talaga ng solid. And we did really well,” said Mocon.
