Six arrested in holiday drug bust, P75,800 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Police seized P75,800 worth of suspected shabu and arrested six persons in separate buy-bust operations during the two-day holidays here and in Negros Occidental from Nov 1 to 2, 2020.

In Himamaylan City, Dennis Arbolario, 37, of Barangay To-oy, was apprehended at the said village last Sunday.

Arbolario was identified as the sixth priority target list on illegal drugs in the city and an alleged high value individual under a drug group, according to the police.

Police recovered from him six sachets of suspected shabu worth P17,000, and the 500 marked money.

The following day in Kabankalan City, Rex Gonzales, 24, of Cauayan town; and Kabankalan City residents Antonio Pineda, 42, and Jeyric Casuyon, 31 were collared at Barangay 6.

Authorities confiscated from them 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,800, aluminum foil, the P100 marked money, lighter, and P1,038.

Also arrested that day in Bacolod City were Roberto Bantilan, 54; and Daryl Genovea, 24, both residents of Barangay Mansilingan.

Police seized from them the P500 marked money, six sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams worth P52,000, and an improvised tooter. Both suspects are detained at Police Station 7.
