BACOLOD City – A chairman of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) was arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Bulibulihan, Mabinay, Negros Oriental on Sunday.
Police identified the suspect as Adonis Kabristante Cabugnason, 19, of Barangay Canggohob. He is a high-value target and a drug surrenderee.
Recovered from him were a sachet of suspected shabu worth P200, and the P500 marked money.
In the neighboring province of Negros Occidental, Demetrio Patatag, 34, of Barangay Marcelo, Calatrava town was arrested in a drug bust at Barangay Minapasok also on Sunday. He yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and P4,640 cash.
The following day, Edison Arroyo, 48, of Barangay San Vicente, Binalbagan town was arrested at the said village, which resulted in the confiscation of a sachet of suspected shabu worth P30,000, the P300 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
Also on Monday, Ian Gabriel Jacinto, 18, of Barangay Sum-ag here was arrested inside a school in Bago City after his teacher seized from him three suspected marijuana worth P2,000 during a random inspection of bags at the school.
