After almost eight months of basketball hiatus, Kai Sotto and his NBA G-league team are reportedly set to debut in a bubble tournament from November to December.

According to Shams Charamia of The Athletic, Ignite – the team composed of Sotto and Filipino-American superstar Jalen Green, had a strong chance of competing this November.

“The NBA G League is seriously discussing a tournament featuring the elite Ignite team led by Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga and other teams in a bubble environment in November/December,” tweeted Charamia.

The coach Brian Shaw led team is composed of five-star high school recruits who chose the G-league as their path to the NBA while turning down multiple college offers.

Players headlining the talented and young Ignite team are Sotto, Green, Kuminga, Daishen Nix, Isaiah Todd, and Princepal Singh.

Charamia further added that the decision is still not confirmed and are subject to changes.
