ROXAS CITY, Capiz – An operator of a sound system and two others were arrested in two separate operations on Aug 19, 2019 in Pontevedra, Capiz and in Brgy. Luctogan here.
Raysan Biclar, 23, a sound system operator and a newly identified drug personality, was arrested at his house in Poblacion Ilawod, Pontevedra.
The Pontevedra PNP recovered from Biclar six sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a cellphone.
He is now detained at the lock up cell of Pontevedra PNP.
Meanwhile, the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City Police Station arrested two drug personalities in Barangay Loctugan, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspects as Denver Bernas, 33, of Barangay Mongpong, and Christopher Almojin, 31, of Barangay Loctugan here.
Recovered from the suspects were three sachets of suspected shabu, and the P500 marked money.
According to Loctugan Punong Barangay Lilian Cordinillo, Almojin had been arrested for the same offense before but he was freed after a plea bargaining agreement.
But instead of stopping, he allegedly returned back to illegal drug peddling until he was arrested again.
Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad Jr., Roxas City PNP chief, said it took three weeks of monitoring before the operation was conducted.
