THE male candidate of Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) and the female bet of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) were crowned Mr. Macho and Ms. Gwapita 2019 at a pageant held at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby, as part of the BCGEU (Bacolod City Government Employees’ Union) Employees’ Day on June 14, 2019.
Maverick Allen Aguilar of Cluster 3 was hailed Mr. Macho and also bagged all special awards: Best in Production, Best in Sportswear, Best in Talent, and Best in Themed Costume.
Sherry Ann Alibawan of Cluster 2 was chosen Ms. Gwapita, aside from winning Best in Production.
Aguilar’s court included 1st runner-up Jason Ligaya of City Tourism Office (Cluster 1), 2nd runner-up Joshua Alonsagay of Bacolod City College (Cluster 4), and 3rd runner-up; Marlo Darla of the City Mayor’s Office (Cluster 3).
Alibawan’s court included 1st runner-up Jenny Hornoz of CDRRMO (Cluster 4), 2nd runner-up Cyra Ploteña of City Tourism Office (Cluster 1), and 3rd runner-up Camela Gonzales of DSSD (Cluster 3).
Ploteña also bagged Best in Sportswear, Best in Talent, and Best in Themed Costume.
BCGEU president Allyn Luv Dignadice of the City Administrator’s Office and her fellow officers awarded the prizes.
The BCGEU Employees’ Union was part of the weeklong “Mga Adlaw sang Paghanduraw” from June 12 to 20, 2019.
