The University of San Agustin in Iloilo Golden Eagle Esports Organization will be offering a treat to all gamers out there.

Taking advantage of the comfort to play at home while also develop teamwork and camaraderie, the Golden Eagle org will be bringing you Patron Saint’s Day Esports Tournament supported by the USA Student Government and SAGE Esports.

Games to be catered are League of Legends, Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, Valorant, Team Fight Tactics, and Skribbl.

The competition will start on August 28- August 29 and as for the livestream, it will begin at 12:00 noon.

“Even before the pandemic we’ve already been doing esports in school, programs that are focused on education, competition and experience. It’s clear that live events will be put on halt because of the quarantine measures put in place but the community of active student-gamers is going to continue to grow based on the increasing time spent indoors. This combined with the absence of traditional sporting events has led us to pursue online tournaments,” said the Golden Eagles org in an exclusive interview with the Daily Guardian.

The event is brought to you by Esports AcadArena, the Philippines’ leading campus esports program, sponsored by GEA Marketing Bikeshop, Planet Cycle, MLG Manual Automotive Battery Supply and AB Consultancy.
