The longest reigning champion of BRAVE CF MMA is vacating his bantamweight throne and will be inking a deal with ONE Championship.

Filipino Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, BRAVE CF’s current biggest superstar, will transfer to ONE as per Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao.

“Stephen Loman is one of the best fighters in the Philippines. His all-around skills will be on full display in ONE Championship,” said Sangiao.

Loman won his prestigious bantamweight belt after outlasting Canadian-Indian foe Gurdarshan “St. Lion Mangat” in 2017 and has managed to retain his belt in all of his title-defenses.

After becoming an undefeated champion for almost four years with BRAVE, he was dubbed as MMA’s next big thing and BRAVE’s biggest MMA star.

“I spoke to Stephen and he’s highly motivated right now. He can’t wait to get in the Circle and put on a show. Of course, I’ll be there for him, as well as all of his teammates at Team Lakay, every step of the way,” added Sangiao.

One of the biggest reasons why Loman chose to sign with ONE is to reunite with his Team Lakay squad headed by Sangiao.

Under their prized training grounds, they were able to produce champions and world-class fighters such as Eduard Folayang, Geje Eustaquio, Kevin Belingon, Honorio Banario, and Joshua Pacio.

“It’s an overwhelming opportunity, but I’m excited to join my Team Lakay brothers in the biggest martial arts organization in the world,” said Loman.
