‘Surambaw’ seafood feast highlights Capiztahan 2023

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Visitors and Capiceños alike flocked to the “Surambaw” seafood feast Saturday evening to taste fresh seafood.

The provincial government of Capiz and the Association of Resorts, Restaurants and Hotels of Capiz (ARRCH) organized and prepared the Surambaw Seafood Feast 2023 held at the Balay Kapisnon.

The occasion was the initiative of  Gov. Fredenil Castro to promote the province as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines.

Among the seafood prepared were Alimango, Talaba, Pasayan, Lukos, Scallops, Tahong, Kagaykay, Smoke Bangus, Sikad-sikad, and Talaba, among others.

Eating of seafood was unlimited and open to the public for P599 per person.

OPM band Rivermaya offered musical entertainment in front of the provincial capitol.
