ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 38-year-old resident here who was caught by the police for allegedly selling illegal drugs in Pres. Roxas, Capiz Tuesday evening was positive of drug use.
Glenn Billanes lsanan of Brgy. Banica here was arrested in buy-bust operation at Barangay Poblacion, President Roxas.
Cluster Team Alpha of Pilar and Pres. Roxas police led the operation.
Recovered from lsanan was a sachet of suspected shabu; P1,400 marked money, a motorcycle, and a cellphone.
Police estimated the street value of the 5 grams of suspected shabu at P3,400.
lsanan was placed under police surveillance for several days before the operation was conducted.
The suspect is presently detained at Pres. Roxas police station while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him.
