Tallest flagpole in Bacolod nears completion

BACOLOD City – The construction of the new Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) flagpole, dubbed as the tallest in the city, is almost done.

Located in front of the BCPO Main Building, the flagpole was made possible through the generosity of brothers Architect Caesar Ken D. Panisales and Engr. Emar Ken D. Panisales, owner/proprietor of ACSTER Marketing, who funded the project in support of the leadership of Colonel Manuel A Placido, BCPO director.

Because of its height, the raised Philippine flag could be seen even at a considerable distance and would greet people and individuals who enter the BCPO headquarters.

Col. Placido is thankful to ACSTER Marketing for the project and to Silver Dragon Construction Inc. for the concreting of the BCPO pavement and parade ground at no cost to the unit.

He said he is overwhelmed by the support of Bacolodnons in all his endeavors and plans for the BCPO and for trusting his leadership as City Director.
